Sharp Suits
In the vein of ‘designer versus client’ arrives a new addition to this endless conflict. Sharp Suits is a collection of A3 posters designed around the most outlandish and inane of client requests. If you are a designer, please take a deep breath before diving into this content, for it may bring the blood to boil in even the most hardened of creatives.

On a side note – Bureau did a small interview over on Ma Bicyclette. Check it out here.
We hope to do more of this kind of thing over the coming year, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
Bureau is 1 today!

Yes it’s true, Bureau has reached the ripe old age of 1 today! This year promises to be our biggest yet, as we strive to bring even more hand-picked content to thine eyes.
Form Follows Function
I can’t believe this one slipped me by. Self-dubbed ‘a collection of interactive HTML5 experiences’, it delivers on this promise, with some truly impressive experiments in HTML5 animation and interaction.

Catmoji
A slight break from tradition. I LOVE cats. I also love responsive web design. Catmoji has both. So take a paws from what you’re doing, and peruse these foudroyant felines.
On a side note, it has been brought to my attention just how many websites are doing this ‘Pinterest-esque’ endless image scroll thing, Catmoji being yet another. It’s not a complaint, but rather I pose the question- is this in fact the best way to present categorised images on the web?
To Resolve Project
There’s a long and convoluted explanation about this project to be found, but I find it better to be concise, so here is an excerpt:
“Create a resolution for the new year as an iPhone background.”
That’s it. But it’s proved very successful, there’s some great stuff on there, from a host of different designers. I would suggest it shouldn’t be limited to iPhones either, I imagine they will look fine on most modern smartphones. Some more examples after the break.
Codepen.io
I’m a sucker for a lovely bit of code these days. Unfortunately I’m not all that great when it comes to writing my own code, so I’m always clicking ‘view source’ on just about every interesting bit of front-end ‘how did they do that?” CSS3/HTML5 experimentation.
This website is full of those ‘how did they do that?’ pieces, and fortunately the code is right there to see without having to open the source/inspect element/firebug, whatever.
ps. also I’ll be posting more again! I had no internet in my house for a few weeks, but it’s all sorted now (*phew*).
